Roasted Asparagus with Balsamic Browned Butter

2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
cooking spray
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
pinch of black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

Preheat oven to 400.
Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Lightly coat the asparagus with cooking spray.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake at 400 for 12 minutes, or until tender.
Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat - cook for 3 minutes, or until lightly browned, shaking the pan occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in soy sauce and vinegar.
Drizzle butter mixture over asparagus, tossing to coat.

makes 8 servings, 1 HU per serving.
