Sometimes simple is best...

Recipe
Classic Corn Chowder

Corn chowder is one of my absolute favorite soups, and I've tried many versions of it. This very basic version is the best I've had so far: creamy, flavorful, a little salty...absolutely fantastic, any way you look at it. Dariush even likes this, and he is generally "underwhelmed" by soup of any kind. While it's at its best in the late summer, when you can get fresh corn, we make it in the winter too, with corn we've frozen from earlier in the year.
