Ham and Swiss-Stuffed Burgers

Ham and Swiss-Stuffed Burgers

(I talked about this recipe here)

1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
2 ounces (1/2 cup) Swiss cheese, grated
2 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced
optional:
sourdough bread slices, toasted
tomatoes, lettuce, and onions, for topping

Prepare grill.
Combine parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and beef in a large bowl.
Divide mixture into 8 equal portions, shaping each into an oval patty.
Top each of 4 patties with equal portions of cheese and ham, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Top with remaining patties, pressing edges together to seal.
Grill patties until done - about 3 minutes on each side.
Serve on sourdough toast with toppings, if desired.

makes 4 burgers, 7 WWP per burger.
