(I talked about this recipe here)
4 cups cooked chickpeas (I used 2 15 ounce cans)
4 medium cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
6 scallions, minced
1/4 cup parsley, minced
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
a few dashes of cayenne pepper
1/3 cup flour
Preheat oven to 350.
Rinse and drain chickpeas.
Combine all ingredients except flour in a food processor or blender and pulse until you have a uniform mixture.
Add flour and stir until thoroughly combined.
Divide batter into 20 equal portions and shape each into a small patty.
Place patties on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
makes 5 servings (4 patties per serving), 4 WWP per serving
