A simple pasta...

Recipe
Garlic, Basil, and Lemon Linguine

I made this pasta dish often this summer and early fall to use up the abundance of basil DR grew in the garden this year. It's quick and easy to throw together, and very flavorful. I've never tried adding any meat to it, but I think shrimp or chicken would be wonderful if you want some protein. Dried basil could be substituted if you don't have any fresh basil handy.

Yum, yum, yum! Come winter, oregano would probably be quite delish in there in lieu of basil.

Lia, I bet it would. I'm growing a basil plant in small pot inside this year, though, so hopefully I'll be able to use it year-round!
