I am SO excited to post about these scones! I can't even begin to describe how absolutely fantastic these are. Almost any scones are okay by me, and I have a few recipes I make that are very good, but these cinnamon scones far exceed any other recipe I've ever made or any scone I've ever had from a bakery. They really are THAT good. I've made a few changes to the original recipe I had to make them a bit lighter - increased the amount of whole wheat flour and cut back on the butter a little...but this is just so I can feel a little better about eating them for breakfast every day. I plan to make batches to put in my holiday treat boxes for my friends and family, and for those, I probably won't lighten the recipe at all. I've included both options in the recipe I've posted. I hope everyone has a chance to try these - they are wonderful!
