Barbecue Fries


Barbecue Fries

2 pounds red potatoes, scrubbed and cut into thin slivers
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cumin
sour cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 450. Line a baking sheet with foil.
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, barbecue sauce, hot pepper sauce, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
Add potato slivers to the bowl and toss to coat.
Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake until golden and tender, 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with sour cream for dipping, if desired.
