Goodbye fall...

Recipe
Pumpkin Cheese Ball

With this post, I wish a fond farewell to fall, my favorite season. It's absolutely FREEZING here in Minnesota...I packed away my light fall jackets this morning, and dug out my mittens from the back of the closet. I suppose (sigh) winter is officially here.

This is my last "fall-ish" recipe of the season (it's time to move on to holiday baking!). Isn't it cute? This cheese ball was recommended to me by the wonderful cooks on the CLBB, and I had so much fun making it! I brought it for a snack to my birthday dinner that my mom hosted earlier this month. Most people ate it with the crackers, but I liked the apple slices myself. In addition to being adorable, the flavor is really excellent - I'd never had a cheese ball before, but I do love cheese, so it turns out these balls are right up my alley! I'll be on the look-out for other cheese ball recipes in the future. Feel free to share if you have any!
