Homemade bread that's fast!

Recipe
Onion and Fontina Beer Bread

Beer bread is one of the best things in my baking repertoire. I love homemade bread, but sometimes I don't have the time (or patience) to wait around for it to rise. The answer to my dilemma? Beer bread. It require no rise time or kneading, but it still tastes fabulous. This particular recipe may be the best beer bread I've found so far: I love the onion flavor, and the little pockets of fontina cheese baked in throughout the bread make it moist and wonderful. Now, doesn't that sound like a good idea for a simple baking project this weekend? It goes wonderfully with a big pot of soup!
